Dr. Rosenwasser is among the earliest in the United States to study the newer techniques of endothelial transplant. Our institution collects data on the function, stability and survival of these transplants compared to older techniques.
None of your personal information is reported. This data will be shared with other doctors to continually improve these corneal transplant techniques.
If you are interested in participating, please schedule an appointment and we would be happy to evaluate you.Approximately 500 families will be recruited to help identify the gene(s) associated with the disease. We are especially interested in participants who have had a corneal transplant for Fuchs' and also have brothers and/or sisters who is affected by the disease. Other affected family members such as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins may also be eligible to participate. The study is coordinated by talented researchers at Case Western Reserve University.
